The Walter Herlofson World War I Navy Collection contains photographs and postcards, seaplane blueprints, and religious books belonging to Herlofson, who served in the U.S. Navy during the war. This small collection of personal items was enclosed in a wooden ditty box upon donation. Photographs are primarily commercial shots of Navy sailors and wartime France.
