Description
Framed collection of military pins that belonged to Lt. Lionel Cherry Gilmour, who flew with the Royal Air Force/Royal Flying Corps during WWI.
Wooden frame is painted gold, with glass front. Interior of frame has white wooden border with pink silk matting. Attached to the matting are a WWI Victory ribbon bar, a gold RFC hat emblem, Gilmour'd ID bracelet, which is engraved "Lieut L. C. Gilmour, Can Ine ATT RAF, P ROS" on the front and a "For Service at the Front" Canadian Expeditionary Forces lapel pin.
Back of frame is covered in brown craft paper, with wire for hanging. Written on the backing in red ink "Lionel Cherry Gilmour, WWI"
