Hat, Uniform/RAF, Dark Blue, with embroidered emblem

RAF fabric uniform dress hat with visor. Blue wool fabric covering with woven black band of fabric around entire base of hat above visor. Shiny leather band sits below black fabric band on front half of hat. Emblem on front center of hat features, from bottom to top, dark gold embroidered leaves, bright gold metal eagle with outstretched wings and head looking to the right, raised crown with crimson and dark gold embellishment. Inside of hat is lined with a brown leather piece along edge and quilted dark blue fabric. Large emblem is barely visible inside hat. Original owner of hat has etched "P-2077" and the initials "LS" on underside of visor.
