Newspaper clipping, "Another group of aviators leave university," from The Ohio State Journal, July 29, 1917. Article notes the graduation of a group of military pilots from the Aviation Ground School at Ohio State University and includes a photograph with identification information.

Inscription on clipping: "The two Xs are friends of mine. This is a dandy bunch of fellows believe me."

Part of the Wilbur D. Kennedy photograph album containing six hundred and five (605) black-and-white photographs, as well as a few pieces of ephemera, circa 1917-1919. The photos trace Kennedy's military career from his infantry training in the United States to his service in France during World War I and post-war service in Germany.
