Caption on verso: "Winner of 'Round Manhattan Race. W. S. Luckey starting in his 80 h. p. Curtiss biplane in the race from Oakwood, S. I., aviation field, around Manhattan Island and return, which was held on Columbus day in honor of the 10th anniversary of the first flight made by the Wrights. Luckey won, covering the 60 mile course in a stiff gale in the fast time of 53 min. 6 sec."
