Photograph of a restored Supermarine Spitfire LF.Mk.IXc aircraft (tail number ML 417 ) in low flight, circa 1980s. The inscription on verso notes that this aircraft was modified for use in the 1988 television serial "Piece of Cake."
Inscription on verso: "Stephen [Fay?] Spitfire modified for film 'Piece of Cake.' Supermarine Spitfire LF M.IX[e?]. RAF ML417. (Post-war restoration)."
