The medal itself is round and made from bronze metal. On the front of the medal is a raised tropical landing scene with a battleship, aircraft carrier, submarine, and an aircraft in the background, with landing troops and palm trees in the foreground. The words "Asiatic Pacific Campaign" are above the scene in raised lettering. On the reverse, a bald eagle is visible between the dates "1941 - 1945" and the words "United States of America" all in raised lettering. The medal was originally mounted on cardboard with a blue felt frontside; cardboard is stored in same bag as medal.
