Hit about mid-calf. Four (plastic?) buttons and a small metal "CATCH-ON" clasp along fly. Near belt loops on either side of fly are plastic buttons, one each, securing small pockets. Larger pockets, unfastened, beneath. Same-fabric belt loosely attached at to back two belt loops. Plastic buttons on rear pockets, securing flap. Along upper seam, to outside of either belt loop are two adjustable straps, secured by small metal clasp. Inside lined with light canvas-colored wool. Along top-inner band are several plastic buttons of different color than those seen externally.

String of numbers written in black ink on inside pocket, as follows.
