Inscription on verso: "Another DH that was. The damned thing wouldn't behave up in the air. The cadet said to the D.H. 'If you won't let me fly you, fly yourself and see how you like it.' He took to his parachute and this is what happened to the ship. The cadet who jumped is beside the ship -- 1 hr after it happened. Cadet Pincomb."Creation Datecirca 1930s-1940sSubjectde Havilland (Airco) D.H.4Airplanes, MilitaryAir pilots, MilitaryAircraft accidentsExtent1 photograph : print, black and white ; 11 x 8 cmLanguageEnglishOriginal Formatphotographic printsBibliographic CitationThe Museum of Flight Biographical Information Files/The Museum of FlightRightsIn copyright
