The design of the bag features 3 printed colors on a white paper bag. The three colors are red, dark blue and medium blue. The background of the bags design is a series of thin, blue vertical lines. They span from the left edge to the right edge. They run behind all of the other words and images on the bag. The bottom of the bag has a medium blue rectangle with the dimensions of 5.5in x 1.25in. Along the top edge of the bag in a large font is the word "bankaH." This word appears just above other words that are smaller in font. These words are most likely Bulgarian and do not translate to the English keyboard, typing them in this description would not be helpful. A white five pointed star with "wings" enclosed in a red circle appears on the left side just below the large printing of "bankaH." Along the right side of the bag in the center are two more lines of Bulgarian words, one line of English that says "for air sickness" followed by two lines of French that says "en cas de mal de l'air." Just above the medium blue rectangle is the word "balkan" appearing in red and dark blue in a large bold font. Between the word "balkan" and the medium blue rectangle, in all caps are the words "BULGARIAN AIRLINES." The obverse and reverse of the bag are identical in design.
