The style is a flat-brimmed hat with an upwards curve on the front that tapers down as it moves back. Part of a 1950's uniform set for a United Airlines Stewardess designed by Mae Hanauer. The cap itself is a dark blue fabric with diagonal line stitching on the front and a white (slightly yellowed) ribbon folded over three times on one side. A pin with the same blue fabric as a top is put through the other side. The inside lining of the cap is grey/blue with the same diagonal striped stitching. There is a label on the inside that reads "Mae Hanauer / 18 East 55th St / New York".
