Red velvet ankle length skirt, closes with four buttons down center front and features two faux buttoned, upturned folds at the bottom to emulate a vaguely historic silhouette. All buttons are 1 5/8 inch black plastic disks on a metal shank, with a roughened front and shiny back. Skirt is trimmed with black flat braid trim tape at hem, along faux fold edges, and up center front. Waistband is black cotton sateen, fastens with hooks and bars (1 pair of hooks and 2 pairs of bars), and a set of snap closures. Two 3.5 inch lengths of loop sewn onto the on the front and back of the waistband. Garment is mostly unlined except for the button plackets and bottom back section of the skirt which is lined with black cotton sateen.
