The propeller itself is signed by former members of the 609th Special Operation Squadron. All of their signatures are dated with the years they served and their names (see images for a complete list). The propeller itself is half of a prop. The prop is mainly black with a yellow tip. The bottom of the prop is a silver metal that would connect to an aircraft to complete a propeller, but instead connects to a silver metal base. The base is square and has the prop mounted in the center. On the base is very faint text that reads "Hamilton Standard Douglas A-26 A/B-26-K 609 Special Squadron NKP Nimrod". On the other side of the base is a logo for Hamilton Standard in color (see images). The other side of the prop is plain with no signatures.
