Later renamed The Daily Zepp, The Dirigible was the onboard newsletter for the USS Zeppelin, a passenger liner that was converted to an American troop transport after the end of World War I. The newsletter was created by and for American soldiers who were returning home on the ship. One typed page.
Inscription on verso: "For Mary. These papers were published aboard the Zeppelin while bringing troops home from Brest, France after the First World War in 1919. The Zeppelin was taken from Germany at the close of the War as a payment of damages to the United States.
