Lear regarding Damron’s invention ideas, recorded on December 30, 1965. Damron, a manager of an electronics store in Pikeville, Kentucky, discusses a number of inventions he hopes to develop and describes his frustration in securing patents, funding, and employment with large corporations such as RCA and GE. He notes that he is now contacting Lear for advice and possible employment. Damron’s invention ideas include an aircraft landing device, an underwater communication device, an underwater mining device, a new process for rocket fuel, and a control device for model airplanes.
