In part two, he continues to describe his wartime experiences as a fighter pilot, including his time in the Southwest Pacific Theater with the 17th Provisional Pursuit Squadron and 8th Fighter Squadron. Topics discussed include the Javanese campaign and evacuation in early 1942, his time stationed in Malang and Australia, and his engagements with Japanese forces, including a combat mission near Melville Island where he scored several aerial victories.
