Roosevelt, is greeted by Marshal Josef Stalin (center), premier of the U.S.S.R at the Kremlin in Moscow. Mr. Davies, former American Ambassador to Russia, traveled to Moscow with a personal message from President Roosevelt for Marshal Stalin, and received a reply from the Russian premier to bring back to Washington.
