Photograph of three unidentified soldiers standing with a damaged De Havilland (Airco) D.H.4 biplane at an airfield in France, circa 1918-1919. The emblem of the 11th Aero Squadron is visible on the plane's fuselage, and the name "Eileen" is painted under the cockpit.

Part of the Wilbur D. Kennedy photograph album containing six hundred and five (605) black-and-white photographs, as well as a few pieces of ephemera, circa 1917-1919. The photos trace Kennedy's military career from his infantry training in the United States to his service in France during World War I and post-war service in Germany.
