Photographic postcard of Marc Lagen (labeled here as "Bockey") with fellow servicemen Okley K. Brown, Dudley Spooner, George Smith, and Don Norri at a military camp, circa 1916-1918. People and items in the photograph have been labeled in ink.

Inscription on verso: "Mrs. John Lagen, [address in Dubuque, Iowa]. We returned this a.m. at 7 o'clock from our 100 mile hike. I came thru o.k. and the entire regiment came into camp without a straggler. We expect to return to N.Y. any day now. Love to all, Bockey."
