Inscription on headstone: "Hamilton Coolidge, Flight Leader in the 94th Aero Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group. On this spot he fell. October 27th, 1918. De L'Armee Americaine en France, Capitaine Au Service Du L'aviation Ne Le 1st Octobre 1895."
