Later - flew 'Stinson Detroiters' with Wm. F. Schlee, from Newfoundland to Japan - 12,295 mi in Aug. 1927. Called 'The Pride of Detroit.' Both later set a round-trip coast to coast speed record in June 1930; Jacksonville, Florida to Seattle & return in a Lockheed Vega. Formed Schlee-Brock Aircraft Corp. in Detroit."
