[Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress tail]

Photograph of the tail fin of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (tail number 483411) at Komaki Air Base, Japan, April 1947. The tail bears the emblem of the Fifth Air Force, United States Army Air Forces. The inscription notes that the plane belonged to Major General Kenneth Bonner Wolfe, Commanding General of the Fifth Air Force.
