Photograph of students of Le Ecole St. Jean de Arc looking at a battered Mitsubishi A6M Reisen aircraft, Lunghwa Airdrome, China, circa 1940s. An inscription has been scratched into the aircraft's fuselage that reads: "[illegible name], 27/10/45, Shanghai."

Typed on verso: "From: Public Relations Office, Fourteenth Air Force. Code: 11020730, Release Upon Receipt, cleared Goldberg USF CT. Fourteenth Air Force Headquarters, Shanghai -- All that remains of the Japanese Air Force in Shanghai is a few battered up Zeros such as the one pictured, being inspected by students of Le Ecole St. Jean de Arc. Brothers and students of the school, located in the former French Concession, toured Lunghwa airdrome recently as guests of Major General Charles B. Stone, III, commanding general of the Fourteenth Air Force."
