Tenth Air Force, China -- Three days after the capitulation of the Japanese Tenth Air Force planes deployed the New Sixth Army from Chihkiang to Nanking. 33,000 troops were flown to China's former capital in 25 days to disarm the Japs and enforce surrender terms.
