Caption on verso: "(Note: Bill's Grumman Widgeon in background). As a little relief from airplanes, here is Dick Rouzie, Guy Townsend, and I, on return from Rivers Inlet. There were four other kings besides what you see. We fished only 7 hours, and sometimes had two on at a time. There were no resorts. Mr. W. E. Boeing would take his big yacht, the Taconite, to Rivers Inlet. He had a canery [cannery] on board. He also had an airplane which was to bring mail and fresh heads of lettus [lettuce]. Our great friend Scotty was his pilot… - Bill Cook."
