Requests a response from Cook, Jr. following the crash of a Boeing 307 Stratoliner during a test flight on March 18, 1939. Cook, Jr. was supposed to be aboard the plane and did not notify his parents when he was bumped from the flight. Record includes the Western Union telegram received by Cook, Jr. and the original handwritten note sent by Cook, Sr.
