The aircraft, which flies at 400 miles per hour using less fuel than many automobiles, is made almost wholly of lightweight carbon fiber. Aircraft was developed by Lear Fan Corp. (US). The carbon fiber material, known as Thornel ® is manufactured by Union Carbide Corporation. ® Thornel is a registered trademark on Union Carbide Corporation. "
