Abstract

This audio recording contains a segment about the Learjet from one of Arthur Godfrey’s CBS radio programs, circa 1960s. During the segment, Godfrey and his guest Bob Cummings briefly discuss William P. Lear’s development of the Learjet, which Cummings describes as “a real humdinger.” Cummings also mentions his own personal aircraft, a Piper PA-23 Aztec.

Godfrey and Cummings are identified in the transcript wherever possible. At least two other speakers are also present and are noted in the transcript as “Unidentified Speaker (US).”
