Plaque/431 Air Demonstration Squad, Snowbirds, To Moya Lear

Plaque given to Moya Olsen Lear by the Snowbirds, circa 1970s. The wood base supports the mounted badge of the Royal Canadian Air Force 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, also known as the "Snowbirds." The unit's badge has a jeweled crown above "431 Squadron Escadrille" and an "Iroquois' head adorned" with "The Hatiten Ronteriious" printed along the bottom. A small engraved metal plate is mounted on the base below the badge.
