Rectangular wood plaque with two plates mounted on it. The top left plate features the NASA logo. On the upper right of plaque is one miniature metal turbine blade; two other blades have broken loose from the plaque but are present. The bottom metal plate is engraved: "Turbine Blades / Symbol of Lewis Research Center's Contributions to Aircraft Propulsion / September 3, 1982."
