Bronze military bin. Pin in the shape of "U.S.," with two fasteners in the back.
Military patch with a gold flower emblem sewn on. The patch is from a beige piece of fabric.
Metal and leather holster. Holster is leather and the attachment piece is silver metal. Clasp at the end made of metal for attaching holster. Leather is brown. Interlocking chain that connects the leather holster to the clasp.
Silver metal pin. Expert marksman badge. At center is stylized cross with a square and circle at crux. Cross is surrounded by laurel wreath. Hanging from wreath is a qualification plaque which reads "Aerial Gunner." Back of badge has straight pin clasp.
Marks: "Aerial Gunner / B.B. Meyer New York."
Blue, gold and red military pin. "Victory by Valor" is written on the front. Round fastener is attached to the back.
Green wool Army Air Corp officer's jacket. Jacket has 4 buttons down the front, with an attached belt. There are two breast pockets and two pockets at the hip. Epaulets on both shoulders, each sleeve has one green band sewn around the wrist. On right upper shoulder is an Army Air Forces patch (blue circle with winged star).

Olive green wool officers hat, US Army Air Corps. Hat has brown hard brim with brown belt that has two brass AAC buttons at each end. Green ribbed band behind belt. Makers mark stamped inside hat, with plastic coating at interior.
Marks: "Brooks California / Uniform Department."
2 patches mounted on a piece of paper with typed text. Framed in black wooden frame, no glass or front protective cover. Top patch is a 20th Pursuit Group squadron patch - round leather patch with wool design, red, yellow and blue shiled with "Victory by Valor" banner underneath. Lower patch is brown leather name tag "T.W. Jackson"
Beneath patches is typed text "20th Pursuit Group (I) GHQ Air…
Gold link bracelet with fold over clasp (broken), which measures 7'' long and .7'' wide. At center of bracelet is ID plaque. Face reads: "T.W. Jackson, Air Corps USA" engraved, with USAF pilot wing insignia in raised silver. Verso reads "Lolo" or "Solo" in engraved cursive, with "8-4-38" also engraved. Silver is tarnishing, regular wear from use.
Letter to Bess Jackson, mother of Thomas Walter Jackson, from Captain Mavis P. Kelsey, surgeon of the 54th Fighter Squadron, September 17, 1942. Notifies her of the death of her son and sends condolences. Two handwritten pages with envelope.
