The ad notes that SO-WOT Airlines serves Sasebo, Okinawa, Wakayama, Ominato, and Tokyo and provides services such as evacuations, transportation "when weather permits (damned seldom)," and searches for lost aircraft and lost admirals.
Certificate issued by the U.S. Navy to Jerry Michaud, August 30, 1945. Certifies that Michaud was a part of Patrol Bombing Squadron 26 (VPB-26) when the squadron entered Tokyo Bay to accept the surrender of the Imperial Japanese government. VPB-26 subsequently became the first squadron to operate from Tokyo Bay during the occupation of Japan.
