The Virginia Drugg Douglas World Cruisers Photograph Collection contains seven black-and-white photographs of the Douglas World Cruisers while stopped in Unalaska, Alaska during the around the world flight, circa April 1924. The photographs depict a single plane in flight over Unalaska Harbor, Alaska; three of the planes at anchor in Unalaska Harbor; a group of unidentified dignitaries with the pilots in front of Prince Rupert Hotel in Unalaska; two aircraft at anchor with a third visible in flight above; all four aircraft at anchor; the “Seattle” at anchor, being fueled and serviced by men in a row boat; and one of the pilots, possibly 1st Lieutenant Leigh Wade, pilot of the "Boston." All photographs are 8 x 10 inches and two include captions.
