[Soldiers on kitchen duty]

Photograph of four American soldiers on KP ("Kitchen Patrol" or "Kitchen Police") duty, standing outside a building at the IV Corps Observation Group liaison school in Germany, circa 1919-1919. Signs on the building read "Schuppen 3. Artilleriedepot" and "Cooks KPs Only."

Inscription on album page: "K.P.s on duty at 4th Corps Liason [sic] School kitchen."

Part of the Wilbur D. Kennedy photograph album containing six hundred and five (605) black-and-white photographs, as well as a few pieces of ephemera, circa 1917-1919. The photos trace Kennedy's military career from his infantry training in the United States to his service in France during World War I and post-war service in Germany.
