Each page has a single photographic print accompanied by a handwritten caption that provides brief contextual information, including people, aircraft, year, and location. Note that not all of the dates written in the captions are correct. An inscription on the inside front cover reads: "For Tom. Christmas 1936, from his non-aviation minded friend. --George."
