Early Seattle Aviation Photograph Album
Title
Description
The Early Seattle Aviation Photograph Album is titled "A Portfolio of Early Aviation Photos, 1908-1913" and is comprised of ten (10) black-and-white photographs. Each page has a single print accompanied by a handwritten caption that provides brief contextual information, including people, aircraft, year, and location. Images depict the first flight in Washington State by Charles Keeney Hamilton, the crash of that first flight, various views of a plane built by Charles A. Boussuet of Seattle (Washington), a group shot of men identified as mechanics, the Wright (Co) Model B, an early unidentified hydroplane, and Herb Munter in a Boeing B & W (Boeing & Westervelt) (Model 1). Inside the front cover is an inscription, "For Tom, Christmas 1936, from his non-aviation minded friend George."
