Shumovsky, Soviet Representative of Aeronautics, and Claud [Claude] Ryan, National Aeronautical Association Representative, designer and builder of the Spirit of Saint Louis. They are shown with the sealed barograph which was removed from the Soviet plane and will be sent to Washington for the official check on mileage of the flight."
