Fourteenth Air Force Headquarters, Shanghai--One of the more terrible aspects of war was completely wrecked Liuchow, once an important Fourteenth Air Force base. Liuchow, twice during the war was the object of ground and air attacks; was battered, upon its final recapture, almost beyond recognition."
