Title
Description
Photograph album related to Julius A. Barr's travels in Australia and the South Pacific, circa 1930s. The album contains approximately 242 photographs and has a plain, black cover. The images are primarily personal snapshots taken by the Barr family and their friends during their trips in the Pacific region. Many of the photographs appear to have been taken in Australia, though other locations in the South Pacific are also represented. Australian animals appear in several photos, and the Chinese consulate in Australia is also depicted. Some of the loose photos are panoramic cityscapes of Sydney, Australia created from series of individual shots. Identified individuals in the photographs include Barr himself, Barr's wife Hortense, and their children Jo Ann and Gene. This album has little aviation-related content.
