Witness for the defense at IMTFE: Mr. Tatsuo Mitari, from Ohara, Chiba Prefecture, appeared as a witness for the defense, during the war crimes trials of the 26 alleged Japanese war criminals at the Int. Military Tribunal for the Far East in the War Ministry Bldg., Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Mitari has been a newspaper correspondent for over thirty years; a political commentator for the past twenty years; and he has written several books on political news and political history. He is now president of the Kokusai Tokushin Newspaper, and advisor to the Shin Hochi Newspaper. Photographer - Leonard."
