Abstract
This audio recording contains several business and personal letters dictated by William P. Lear and Moya O. Lear to secretary June Shields, recorded at the Lear home in Geneva, Switzerland, circa June 1960. Most of the letters focus on William Lear’s business ventures in Europe and discuss details regarding meetings, business proposals, and aircraft components and systems. One letter mentions the Johnson and Johnson Learstar crash in Massachusetts in December 1958. Moya Lear also dictates two personal letters to friends. Addressees include Connie Haslet, Chris Lovelace, Al Handschumacher, Gerard d’Erlanger, Elwood “Pete” Quesada, Dick Mock, Bob Williams, Dick Millar, Henry Mortimer, Harry Koshar, Sidney Sheldon, Harvey Schwartz, Pat Dunn, Lloyd Percell, Bob Hahn, C.
