Trophy/American of the Year Award, 1974, William Lear, Lions American Bowl

Trophy constructed out of large wood rectangular base with a thin black plaque attached to the center front. The plaque has the Lions American Bowl logo and the text, "William P. Lear American of the Year, Lions American Bowl Tampa Stadium, January 6, 1974," etched in silver. There are two silver athlete figures flanking the main form of the trophy. On the top portion of the base are two additional silver figures standing upon a globe holding the U.S. flag and the Lions American Bowl logo, all constructed out of metal. Both the flag and logo have the colors red, white and blue.
