Residents of Resina, Italy, gather in the streets and stand atop bomb debris to watch vehicles of the Allied Fifth Army roll through the town. Resina, the last town through which the Allies passed on their way to Naples, was the scene of heavy artillery and aerial bombing attacks against German forces who were driven from Naples by the advancing British and American troops.
