Brooks, defense attorney representing Jiro Minami at the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, proposes a dismissal of the case against his defendant for lack of evidence, during the war crimes trials of the 26 alleged Japanese war criminals in the War Ministry Bldg., Tokyo, Japan. Capt. Brooks, whose home is in Kansas City, MO., served with U.S. Army in European and Asiatic Theaters, June 1942 to Dec. 1943. He attended the U. of Missouri, A.B. 1936; MO. School of Law, L.L.B. 1938; practiced law in State and Fed. courts; a member of Interstate Commerce Comm.; Nat. Labor Relations Board; ROA State of Missouri, 1938-39, and is an attorney-at-law with Brooks, Carder & Zimmerman in Kansas City, MO. Photographer - Einhorn."
