Williams, defense attorney representing Naoki Hoshino at the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, proposes a dismissal of the case against his defendant for lack of evidence, during the war crimes trials of the 26 alleged Japanese war criminals in the War Ministry Bldg., Tokyo, Japan. Capt. Williams, whose home is in Brookneal, VA., attended John Hopkins U., AB 1940; U. of VA., LLB 1942, and is associated with Copenhaver & Walker Law Firm. After entering the Army in Dec. 1942, Capt. Williams served at Biggs Field, Tex. and 21st Bomber Comm. In Colo.; Headquarters 20th Air Force, Guam, Dec. 1944 - Feb. 1946; Pacific Air Command Manila, Feb. - March 1946, and with Headquarters 5th Air Force in Tokyo from March to May 1946.
