Typed caption on verso: "G. Shows a complete set of equipment for a T30R3 installation. You will note that the antenna consisting of a trailing rope that was always hanging out of the airplane without a weight on it, and the big problem was that it would always tend to either tear off or whip off and became consistently shorter with use. However, it did provide a very satisfactory transmitting antenna, providing that the transmitter was always kept tuned to whatever length of wire rope was left on the aircraft."
